What is End of Life Coaching?

End of Life Coaching (EOLC) asks us to tend to the questions and needs of unfinished business in our lives. It coaching us on how to mend relationships and repair internal quandaries. It helps us to acknowledge that there is not necessarily more time, there is just now time.

EOLC has a lot to do with facing areas of life that we have not lived as well as we wanted to, and discovering ways to do so now. The particular practice I offer is built around a well-honored body of wisdom work called The Best Three Months. This suggests that our last three months in our bodies could very well be the best ones of our life, because knowing that our death is near, we truly know that we only have NOW. And that with support, we can live accordingly.

The concept is amazing, but, well, what do we do before then, with all this time? In fact, we can do a whole lot. And the coaching is not just reserved for our last days. It is also designed for considering them.

In the approach that I offer, we inquire about the possibility of this radical presence, this beautiful repair, and this awareness of NOW as part of all the months that we have laid out before us.

In the process if EOLC, we consider more esoteric pieces to our experience within the coaching work. We are invited to expand past our known selves, our relationship to community and family, and take space to consider our place amongst the greater web of time, living, and beyond. We are a key to this web - the web that is connected to nature, to soul, and to all the parts of our cosmos that we allow ourselves access to. For those of us who haven't healed as well as we could have, but have the desire and capacity, this work is available for you.

What is truly remarkable is that each time I endeavor this work, the ability to peel back another layer, like an onion, becomes easier and easier. The practice allows for a new layer of skin that is softer than the previous one. And simultaneously, the experience becomes stronger. The healing is surprisingly gentle, the armor falls away. What is left is a transformation into more peace and ease.

If you are curious to experience a complementary session to discuss this practice, please do not hesitate to book a time with me.
